Pi(e) and Puppies Picnic In-Person
March 14, 9 a.m. UPDATE: Due to high wind warnings, this event has been moved inside the Meeting Room. The Animal Shelter's dogs will be available to meet inside! Attendees are still welcome to bring their leashed dogs to the Greenspace, but they must stay outside.

What’s better than celebrating Pi Day? Celebrating Pi Day with puppies! Bring your friendly (leashed) furry Fidos to the Library Greenspace for some outdoor fun or meet your new fur-ever friend! The Bedford Animal Shelter will be at the event with discounted adoption fees for this special event. Don’t forget a lawn chair or picnic blanket!
We will have tasty mini pies available on a first come, first served basis. Pie flavors will vary, and there will be a chance to win a large pie at the Musical Chairs: Pie Edition game, an adult-only musical-chairs-based activity featuring pups from literature! Musical Chairs: Pie Edition will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the Greenspace.
Unfortunately, no gluten-free options will be available. Treats are first come, first served while supplies last.
