Hobbit Day Food Drive In-Person
Sharing food is a core value among Tolkien’s food-loving Hobbits so please support our community by bringing non-perishable foods to donate this autumn. Collection boxes will be placed prominently in the lobby. Requested food items include:
- Rice
- Pasta & Pasta sauce
- Tuna (cans or pouches)
- Canned meats (chicken, salmon)
- Soups/stews
- Dry beans
- Fruit cans/cups and applesauce
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Cereal and Oatmeal
- Raw nuts
- Dried fruits
- Trail Mix
- Crackers
Central Storehouse is a free food market in east Fort Worth serving more than 1,500 food insecure families per month. Food insecurity means that the family is not certain where their next meal will come from. The Central Storehouse team provides 60 pounds of food including fresh produce and protein to each family in their neighbor-choice food market. Your contribution to this food drive will help the people in a challenging season of life reduce the stress of providing food for their family.
